GDS ABPM Level 1

The basic salary of a Level 1 GDS ABPM (Assistant Branch Post Master) in a rural Indian Post Office under the Department Of Posts is 10000 Rs. The central government is giving 42% DA (Dearness Allowances) in 2023. Apart from this Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) receive a 3% annual increment yearly on their slab. TRCA payscale slab of a GDS ABPM level 1 staff is Rs10,000 (Level 1 Slab 1). After 5 years of service, GDS level 1 ABPM will receive a total increment of RS 1500. Additionally, Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) receive a 3% annual increment on their salary slab. The TRCA payscale slab for a GDS ABPM at Level 2 is 12,000 Rs (Level 1 Slab 2). After serving for 5 years, the GDS ABPM at Level 2 will receive a total increment of 1,800 Rs, making their basic salary 12,000 + 1,800 = 13,800 Rs. GDS BPM Level 1

The starting salary for a Level 1 GDS Branch Post Master (BPM) in Post Offices is Rs. 12,000. In 2023, the central govt. is providing a Dearness Allowance (DA) of 42%. Additionally, Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) receive a 3% annual increment on their salary slab. The salary scale for a GDS BPM at level 1 is Rs. 12,000 (Level 2 Slab 1). After 5 years of service, GDS level 1 BPM will have a total increment of Rs. 1,800. Therefore, their basic salary will be Rs. 12,000 + Rs. 1,800 = Rs. 13,800. In addition to the basic salary, they will receive 42% DA. So, the salary after 5 years will be Rs. 13,800 + 42% DA = Rs. 19,596 approximately.

GDS BPM Level 2

The starting salary for a Level 2 BPM (Branch Post Master) in the Postal Department is Rs. 14500. In 2023, the central government of INDIA is providing a 42% Dearness Allowance. The TRCA (Time-Related Continuity Allowance) payscale slab for a GDS BPM at Level 2 is Rs. 14,500 (Level 2 Slab 2). After 5 years of service, a GDS Level 2 BPM will receive a total increment of Rs. 2,175. So their new basic salary will be Rs. 14,500 + Rs. 2,175 = Rs. 16,675. In addition to the basic salary, they will also receive a 42% DA. Therefore, the salary after 5 years will be Rs. 16,675 + 42% DA, which amounts to approximately Rs. 23,678.
