Latest Salary Of GDS in Post Office
Table of Contents
GDS also known as Gramin Dak Sevak is the backbone of Indiapost (Department Of Posts). So you might be curious about the salary of GDS staff in post offices. Let me tell you that GDS basically work in rural areas of India. From East to West and North to South, GDS plays the key role in maintaining the widespread network of Indiapost aka Post Office.
However, you might be thinking the salary of a GDS employee will be as high as a central government employee because they are also working in the post office which is a central govt. office. But they receive much less salary than a normal government employee because their working hours are only 4/5 hours a day. So again confusion arises whether the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks are permanent & government or not. We have already discussed this topic in our forum earlier.
